kurachu divasam aayi ivide oru recipe post cheythittu....innu ennal oru quick dish aavam 8->

 

Masala Rice 8->   ithu choru baaki ondel, amma nxt day mrng masala rice aaki tiffin aaki therunna oru dish aanu.....pettennu oru masala rice....awesome taste...no curry required....

 

Ingredients 

Cooked rice (athu nammude naadan puzhakkalari aavam, basmati aavam)  - 3 cups..... left over aane athu fridgeil vechu nxt day mrng use cheyyam....

Eni fresh aanelum undaakam...pakshe basmati rice, oru 80% cooking aavumbo drain cheythu edukanam......full cook cheyenda avashyam illa......and puzhukalari athikam venthu povaathe vaarthedukanam....

 

Oil - 1 tbspoon

Kaduku - 1/2 tsp

Kayaam - 1/4 tsp

Manjal podi - 1/4 tsp

Peanuts - 3 tbspoon

Curry leaves

Green chillies - erivu vendathu anusarichu

Garam masala - 2 tablespoon

Salt

Coriander leaves 

 

 

Eni how to make :

 

Oru pan aduppathu vechu...kurachu enna oizhikanam

 

Enna choodavumbol, kaduku pottikkuka.....kaayam and manjal podiand peanuts cherthu mix. Peanuts onnu niram maari verum....

ithilekku kurachu uppu, green chillies, garam masala, curry leaves, coriander leaves ellam kood mix cheyyanam....cooked rice ittu nalla pole adhikam odakkathe mix cheyyanam....

 

 

vere oru best vazhi is if u have a microwave - e rice microwaveil choodakki vekkanam...and then e mix ready aavumbo riceinte koode ittu mix chythal mathi....

 

curry onnum venda... oru achar and thairu undel :super:  

 

kurachoode look veruthane - u can add cooked green peas 8->

Vazhuthanga ellarkum ishtaano?? Brinjal king of vegetables ennokke endhinaanavo schoolil paranju padipiche ennu njan aalochikkarundarnu! Sambaril kittiyaaal njan eduthu thottu appurathu erikunnavarude plate’il snehathode 34'um kaanichu angu idum =)) athrakku ishta brinjals!   :yoyo:

 

Angane orikke oru maharashtrian frnd veetil poyappo, frnd’nte mummy 2 roti and oru brinjal sabzi kondu thannu….brinjal ennu paranja sambhavam kaanmaanilla .....nalla pole shiny texture ....kandittu thanne   :kothi:  appo chodichu “Aunty, ye kaai aahe? (aunty ithendhoota enne?)    aunty paranju “tumhi malayalees asa banavat naahi re….hyaala mhantaat baingan bharta”   (ningal malayalees ingane undaakilla…ithinte peraanu Baingan Bhartha”…….appo aa aunty padipicha recipe aanu ivide post cheyunnathu…..ithu super and oru veritta taste aanu! Aunty paranja pole, nammal malayaleesnte oru  dishnum illatha oru prathyeka taste!

 

Recipe :  Baingan Bartha

 

Oru 6-8 brinjals (small green /slightly purple ones)

8-10 colves garlic

1 medium onion chopped

1 tomato chopped

3 tbspoon coarsely ground roasted peanuts

Chilly pwder

Garam masala
turmeric powder

1 tspm Cumin seeds

Cooking oil

½ tspoon mustard seeds

Curry leavs

1-2  vattal mulaku

Salt

Coriander leaves to garnish

 

Undakkunna vidhi :

 

Step step aayi parayam 8->

 

Step 1 :

 

Brinjal nalla pole kazhukanam….enittu fork kondu prick cheyyanam……e brinjal nte mele oil brush cheythu kodukkanam……ennittu Gas on aaaki……medium flameil brinjals roast cheythu edukkanam….athinte stem pidichu ingane thirichu thirichu koduthaal mathi…..athu angu roast aayikolum…..roast aavumbol athinte skin color maarum – oru karinja paruvam aavum …skin okke vittu pona pole (pic njan undaakittu postaam).  Roast aavumbol brinjal soft aavum – pulpy pulpy pole…..ingane oro brinjal cheythu edukanam…njan randu gas orumichu on aaaki – multitasking aane :subu: 

 

Step 2

Roasted brinjals onnu thanukkatte – alle kai pollum…onnnu thanuthu kazhiyumbo, athinte skin kai kondu valichaal ingu porum…mutta thodu polikunna pole, brinjal skin angu remove cheythu kalayuka…appo ethandu karinja manam + ventha brinjal smell  okke varum…..eni skin mattiya brinjal eduthu nalla pole mash cheyuka ….

 

Step 3

 

Oru pan eduthu..enna choodaaki….jeerakam add cheyanam…add mustard seeds….mustard seeds trrr trrr potti therikkum..kurachu maari ninno!  Enittu ithil curry leaves, ginger garlic paste…okke add cheytho…….eni onion add cheythu saute till brown color…..ithu brown aayente sesham mathram tomatoes add cheythu saute cheyyuka……..ithil eni masalas ellam thattikkko…….and mashed brinjal also…..add salt and cover with lid and cook on low flame for 3-5  mins…….finally kurachu crushed peanuts and coriander leaves oke ittu mix cheyanam….

 

Step 4

Final oru tempering koodi undu….kurachoode oil ozhichu, mustard seeds splutter cheythu –  crushed garlic and cloves saute cheyya till brown color….vattal mulaku koodi iduka – kurachu curry leaves…gas off cheyyanam…and kurachu chilly pwder add cheythu – immediately pour over the ready baingan barta dish….ennittu lid vechu adachu vekkanam.

 

Ithu pnne thurannal nalla mouth watering aroma varum …enikkippo thanne vannu thudangi :wallbash:  

 

First time cheyumbol mathrame ithu kurachu paadaaayi thonnu….taste pidichaal, pnne brinjal kondu ningal ithe undaaku :lub: 

 

Athaaanu appo e Baingan Bhartha – ithu chapathide koode best and also side dish for rice :kodukai:
