Non veg praanthanmaare pedichu njan oru non-veg recipe idaam…

 

Innathe recipe “Kheema”  -  this is made from minced meat (mutton).  Ivide chila Iranian restaurants undu, they make and serve the best Kheemas.  Oru simple Persian dish ..but very tasty. 

 

Personally, enikku mutton velya ishtalla – chilappo athinu endho oru ‘kuthu’ thonnum…..pinne evideyo vaayichu aa oru vellatha taste kalayan – marinate cheyyumbo two spoon paal koodi ozhichu marinate cheyyan…and it has worked :dance:

 

Eni Kheema – ithu Parsis sthiram kazhikunna oru sadanam aanu….Parsi community valare cheriya community aanu, datz what I know! Avar ivide cheriya oru locality’il “Vishaaalamaayi” aanu thamasam….cheriya community aayondu, avar generally relativesne thanneya angottum ingottum kalyanam kazhikka….surnames okke nalla rasama “Daaruwala, Baatliwaala, Rubberwala” – ithinte pirakilum history ondu..endhayalum ente jwali history padipikal allalo, namukku recipe padicha pore…

 

Kheema recipe

 

Aadyam mutton kadayil poyi Mutton minced medichondu veranam…..mutton vila okke Rs.480/- kg aayathondu, namukku oru 250 gm medichu padichaal mathi….

 

Mutton : 250 gms

Onion :  1 large finely chopped

2-3 green chillies chopped

1 tablespoon – ginger garlic paste

Pinne masalas,  kurachu turmeric pwder, coriander pwder, red chilli pwder, garam masala and a pinch of jeera pwder

3 large tomatoes

½ cup tomato puree / paste

1 potato cut into tiny squares

½ cup green peas

Salt

Coriander leaves

Curry leaves

Oil

 

Keep all the above ingredients ready

 

Aadyam minced mutton nalla pole kazhuki, pizhinju edukkuka

 

Marinate cheyyan, kurachu lemon juice / vinegar , red chilli pwder , ginger garlic paste , salt mix cheythu half an hour vekkanam

 

Half an hour kazhinju : Pan vechu…oil ozhikanam..oil choodavumbo, onion and green chillies, curry leaves ittu nallapole saute cheyyanam….kurachu uppu ittu koduthaa angu pettennu niram maarum…onnu vazhannu varumbo…minced meat ittu, nalla pole ilakanam on medium flame….ithu oru brown niram aavunna vare….

 

Eni ithilekkku add tomatoes , and all masalas…….ingane aanu look….

Masala pwdersnte raw taste maarumbo, add tomato puree …peas and cubed potatoes with 1/3 cup water…..cover the pan with lid and cook for about 20 mins …ithu onnu kuruki varum…..add coriander leaves and garnish

nice recipe...mutton enikkum taste athra ishtalla  ..pinne angottu aayonde beef chodikkaanum patillallo :ohno:  south indian  non veg items are far better ...pinne ambro paranja pole punjabi  chicken okke kidu aanu...ente oru friend punjabi undayirunnu from college avan okke vtil undakkunnathu adipoliyaanu chicken with chappathi okke...chicken ,chappathi orange juice aanu main item...but mmde kappem meen curryum,mulakaraccha koyi curryum..beef varattiyathum atrem onnum onnum varilla  :beee:  ...may be oro sheelangal  :chey:
